Swallows Cave

A large sea cave on the northwest corner of Kapa Island in the Vava'u group, Tonga. Cave mouth approximately 6 m high and 5 m wide; floor at about 18 m. Interior hosts a large resident school of bait fish. Dive, snorkel, or night-dive access. Afternoon light is best as the cave faces west. Nesting birds in the cave roof; 1800s inscriptions on the interior walls. Suitable for Open Water divers and snorkelers.
