Whale Bommie (Milln Reef)

A whale-shaped coral bommie on Milln Reef rising from 25 m to 8 m below the surface — the reef's namesake feature. Schools of black snapper, red bass, and resident Maori wrasse work the bommie; the sandy channel to the west holds garden eels and blue-spotted stingrays. Often paired with Swimming Pool as a pair of contrasting Milln dives.
