Turtle Cavern (Turtle Tomb)

A submerged limestone cave system inside Sipadan Island, Sabah, Malaysia. Cave entrance at approximately 20 m on the main wall; the cave extends through a labyrinth of tunnels into the 'Turtle Tomb' — a chamber floor covered in green sea turtle skeletons. Turtles that enter the cave system accidentally become disoriented in the dark tunnels and drown. Full cave certification and specialized equipment required; guided dives only with trained Sipadan operators.
