Utwa Coast

Kosrae, Federated States of Micronesia

Utwa Coast stretches along Kosrae's southeastern shoreline, where a reef slope transitions to steep wall sections at around 20 meters. The wall sections feature gorgonian fans and soft corals sustained by currents that sweep along. Among the residents are green sea turtle, bigeye trevally tucked into ledges, and clark's anemonefish sweeping the deeper reaches.
