Hidden Reef (Secret Reef)

Gili Meno, Lombok, Indonesia

A sunken coral ridge in the channel between Gili Meno and Gili Air, so named because it was discovered on an exploration dive and sits off the standard boat routes. Topography is dramatic — hard coral formations and deep pinnacles descend from around 12 m to 35 m, with a reliable north-to-south current that carries divers along the reef. Reserved for Open Water divers and above; the drift makes it a rewarding intermediate site.
