Manaia Pinnacles

Aitutaki Lagoon, Southern Cook Islands

Multiple coral towers rising from the lagoon floor southeast of the main island. Each pinnacle hosts distinct communities of reef fish, with barracuda and trevally circling the formations while turtles rest on the sandy bottom between spires.
