The first declared marine protected area in Egypt (1983), at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula where the Gulf of Suez and Gulf of Aqaba meet. Contains approximately 18 distinct dive sites including Shark & Yolanda, Anemone City, Shark Observatory, Jackfish Alley, Ras Ghozlani, Ras Za'atar, Satellite Reef, and Eel Garden. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich water; extensive pelagic action. Advanced certification recommended for most sites.
