Roger's Rocks
Poor Knights Islands, Northland
A group of large volcanic boulders on the reef slope off Aorangi Island, creating a labyrinth of passages, swim-throughs, and overhangs between eight and twenty-five metres depth. Mosaic moray eel glide over the substrate, rock lobster tuck into recesses, and red pigfish aggregate near the crest.
