The rock's vertical and overhanging faces are covered in a patchwork of yellow, orange, and purple sponges interspersed with jewel anemones and sea tulips. Rock lobster occupy crevices throughout the structure. The reef hosts Hector's dolphin alongside scarlet wrasse, with red cod cruising the outer slope.
