North Wall Point
La Jolla Submarine Canyon, San Diego, California, United States
Where the canyon's Main Wall curves westward, the North Wall is topped by a broad sand flat at about 15 meters. Tube anemones and gorgonians line the wall, with moray eels, lobster, rockfish and nudibranchs in the structure and shovelnose guitarfish common on the sandy plateau above — a low-surf, good-visibility favorite within the ecological reserve.
