South Park

Tubbataha Reef, Palawan

One of the more relaxed dives on Tubbataha, South Park opens on a shallow coral plateau that slopes gently down to a wall, with vibrant coral gardens, sandy patches, and bommies in between. Currents are usually manageable, giving an easy drift along the slope or wall. The varied reef draws both macro hunters and mid-size predators: green and hawksbill turtles grazing or resting, schooling fusiliers, snapper, and rainbow runners, plus grey and whitetip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, and a range of stingrays. Liveaboard access only; Advanced Open Water certification required.
